A catch all, or default, email address allows you to "catch all" email messages addressed to a non-existent recipient at your domain name, and redirect them to a valid destination. Catch-alls prevent such email messages from being returned as undeliverable. For example you may have setup sales@ and support@myfuturedomain.com. But someone accidentally mistypes and sends an email to sale@myfuturedomain.com; now as long as you have gone into the preferences section of your control panel and specified an email address to 'catch' these unspecified emails, then you will still get the email. The catch-all you specify can be one you have already created eg. sales@myfuturedomain.com or an external email address eg. whatever@messagebag.com
You can add or edit a catchall email address for any domain through your web-based control panel.
