This allows you to password protect an unlimited number of directories so that only people who have the username and password to access the directory are able to do so. You can set 1 username/password combination for all access to any password protected directory or assign a specific username/password combination for each person, that you want to provide access, separately. If you want to stop a person having access you can just delete their username/password from the list associated with that directory.
